Quartz Crystals In Breccia, Skeena River, BC

This specimen comes from a breccia deposit in the mountains along the Skeena River. Magma intruded into sedimentary rock, heaving and busting it apart. The hot magma sent super heated water carrying silica and calcite up into the crevices, crystalizing into this beautiful quartz crystal specimen!! Collected by prospector Liam Emes.
